Helix was established by two university students in September 2002, out of sheer frustration due to the lack of broadband internet in New Zealand.
The privately owned New Zealand business is satisfying the needs of organisations and residential clients in the region.
Helix started off by offering high speed internet delivered via standard 802.11b wireless technology in the Auckland CBD and surrounding areas.
It now delivers high speed data circuits over other mediums such as fibre optic and DSL with commercial webhosting and co-location in a secure Auckland datacenter.
